Seeking Tool Maker with expertise in plastic injection molding for a major manufacturer of small and miniature plastic components and parts. Duties: *** Machine, maintain and repair injection molds for production runs. *** Prepare molds for heat treating, finish grinding, fitting, and polishing. *** Recommend changes to tools to improve cycle time. *** Develop and manage tooling standards, budgets, requests for quotation (RFQ), and mold specifications. Required: *** Journeyman Tool and Die certificate or Engineering degree. *** 5+ years as a tool maker for plastic injection molds. *** Experience in the finishing and polishing of multi-cavity molds.
