Electrical Engineer - dtg capital markets (Marlborough, MA)

Description: This is a great hands-on opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who likes their work to make an identifiable impact on the performance of the business. The Electrical Design Engineer will develop electrical solutions used in controllers and peripherals of fiber based lasers and optical amplifier products. Duties: • New product development and support of existing products • Project management, Specifications, and Documentation of new designs • Updating existing designs • Manufacturing test and calibration support along with system debugging Qualifications: • BS or MS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related science • 5+ years of FPGA design experience. • Experience Analog Design, Controls Systems, or Digital Signal Processing, a must • Experience with Verilog and C programming • Familiarity with HLD simulation and methodologies • Demonstrate excellent technical writing skills and the ability to provide high quality engineering documents. • Strong communication skills required for interaction within group, with internal customers, R&D, and European colleagues. Experience in One or More Areas a Plus: • Analog Design • Controls Systems • Digital Signal Processing • Switching Power Supplies
